With a market share of roughly 20%, the Taiwanese Innolux Corporation (formerly CMI – Chi Mei Innolux Corp.) is the currently the world’s second-largest display manufacturer. Chi Mei Innolux Corp. was formed in 2010 with the world’s biggest merger in the TFT industry between Chi Mei Optoelectronics founded in 1998, TPO display Corp. founded in 1999, and Innolux display Corp. founded in 2003. In 2013, the company was renamed to “Innolux Corporation”.
Listed on Taiwan’s stock exchange, Innolux Corp. is a partner of the Foxconn Technology Group and supplies customers such as Apple, HP, Sony and Dell.
With a capital stock of about 3.1 billion USD and approximately 88 thousand employees worldwide, Innolux Corp. is one of the world’s leading display-technology companies with manufacturing facilities, inter alia, in Zhunan and Tainan (Taiwan), as well as Ningbo, Nanjing, Foshan and Shanghai (China).
